Attorney Daniel has experience with family- and employment-based immigration processes. He represents clients facing removal proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review. Attorney Daniel also handles special immigrant juvenile and similar matters in the Probate and Family Court, and criminal matters in the District Court. Dan works closely with clients to understand their goals and to identify strategies for attaining them. He served as an invited speaker for the Boston Bar Association, and also serves as a mentor for our paralegals, law clerks, and staff.
Attorney Daniel received his Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School. While in law school, he was part of the Suffolk Journal of Health & Biomedical Law, serving as the Student Note Editor during his final year of law school. Dan graduated from Suffolk cum laude with a concentration in Internal Law. Before law school, Dan attended the University of Maine at Farmington, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and was the recipient of the Honors Scholar Award.
Prior to joining Celedon Law, Attorney Daniel worked for several years for a Boston-based nonprofit where he collaborated extensively with asset disposition managers for large banks, with legal aid attorneys, and housing counselors to pursue alternatives to foreclosure and eviction. During this time, he also handled immigration cases through a solo law practice that he established in 2015. Before that he worked for five years as an immigration attorney in Worcester, Massachusetts. His primary focus was on employment-based petitions, though he also handled family-based immigration matters and represented clients before the Immigration Court. Dan enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He is a licensed pilot and avid reader.
